Millionaires in Training Launches Nation's First Entrepreneurship Childcare Academy, May 7; Kwame Jackson of "The Apprentice" to Speak

 

GREENSBORO, N.C.- The Millionaires in Training Petite Academy daycare in Greensboro, North Carolina, is making history today as the nation's first entrepreneurship childcare academy. Tots and toddlers from 6 months to 5-years-old can get a headstart learning basic business concepts and skills as part of the Millionaires in Training youth entrepreneurship curriculum. The May 7th Open House event also will introduce "The Bizeebee Family Business" entrepreneurship children's book by author and Millionaires in Training founder V.K. Fields. CEO of Krimson by Kwame Executive Neckwear and star of "The Apprentice" Kwame Jackson will speak on "Social Innovation in Education." Advanced registration is required.

Youth participating in the Millionaires in Training Petite Academy are introduced to new business concepts on a weekly basis using a 52-week custom youth entrepreneurship curriculum developed by educators and business owners affiliated with the MiT program. Each student also receives a college savings fund opened in his/her name. Arts, crafts and products developed by the pre-kindergarten students are available for sale inside the MiT Petite Academy student store kiosk. Featured products include the "Magic Moments" greeting card line, MiT piggy banks, and "The Bizeebee Family Business" children's book.
